My magazine reader: Jordan 18, is passionate towards music. He mostly listens to hip hop/ RnB. He uses the magazine to inform friends who are also interested in the same thing as him, on the latest gossip and news. Half of his time he is engaged in music activities, he is in with all new trends and his clothing is very stylish. Some trends that have been picked up are heavily influenced by American celebrities. Jordan is in university studying music technology, she reads in her spare time. He currently lives on campus in the oxford area in order to get to his college location. He enjoys making music although he can’t find any studios in the time being, he creates musical hip hop instrumentals.
I will develop my magazine to attract Jordan through looking at varied musical genres but mainly hip hop/RnB. It will include the latest news interviews and gossip on popular music artists in the desired musical genre. The magazine will relate to teenagers in more urban places of England. A fashion page will also be added in order to look at new trends and shows pictures of street wear in the present. It will have a list of musical activities currently running like youth clubs with music schemes and community centres open for access to instruments. It will list all free studios currently in the London area. The front cover will have headlines and cover lines on important goings on at the moment.
